Lot 364		Peter Max; Rare Hand-Painted Cincinnati Bengels Football Helmet Commissioned by the NFL For Superbowl XXIX (1937) Peter Max, one of the most popular living artists in America most especially in the late 20th Century, his works finding great appeal with his use of bright, psychedelic colors. Rare and immensely appealing 1995 Cincinnati Bengels hand-painted football helmet commissioned by the NFL for Superbowl XXIX. 10 x 10 x 13". Signed and dated: Peter Max 1995 number 27428 copyright Peter Max lettered inside helmet. Presented in custom plexiglass display and stand. Lot 365		Dan Marino + Joe Montana Signed Photo "Handshake", Dan Marino Signed Miami Dolphin Jersey Framed + Marino Signed Cap 1/343. 1.) From Upper Deck, their popular signed 8 x 10" photo entitled "Handshake" by Joe Montana and Dan Marino from the AFC Wild Card Game in 1994 nicely matted and framed 16 x15" with hologram ID #BAC63951 and paper COA. 2.) excellent signed Miami Dolphins Jersey boldly signed along the "1" in black Sharpie by Marino. No COA but clearly his signature, with jersey handsomely presented and matted in frame measuring 40½ x 32" and quite striking. 3.) Dan Marino signed commemorative 343 Touchdown Pass Leader baseball cap 1/343 from Upper Deck #BAB77053 presented in a lucite and oak wood display. Lot 366		Rare Harvard/Yale 1912 Deluxe Football Program and Princeton/Yale 1913 Football Program. Two extremely scarce football programs from the early 20th Century. 1.) Harvard at Yale football program from November 23, 1912 where Harvard defeated Yale 20-0 breaking the Bulldogs winning streak in their last game of the season. Program cost 50 cents ($26 today!) and was die-cut and printed in the shape of a football, with the binding being punched holes to the left side and laced up as if a football. Superb, excellent condition, no marks or tears, the advertisements amusing including a three color engraved ad on verso for "Genuine Roll Cut Lucky Strike Tobacco Prepared for the Pipe." Outstanding original program for one of the greatest college rivalries in American history. 10 x 7" 2.) Princeton at Yale program, November 15, 1913 which ended up in a tie for the rival colleges. Program has large photos of both team's players interspersed with a wide variety of local and national ads. Very fine condition with the only issue is that being a three staple binding, the rusting of the staple caused acidic burning limited to the inside facing page and three "burn" stains on the left white border of cover. (PSA/DNA cert AC25638) 2.) Jerry Rice, NFL wide receiver, inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2010 is the all-time leader in receptions, yards, and touchdowns. Lot 370		Marcus Allen (Los Angeles Raiders #32) and Jerry Rice (Oakland Raiders #80) Signed Jerseys. Marcus Allen enjoyed 16 years in the NFL, the bulk of those years with the Los Angeles Raiders and winning Superbowl XVIII. From 1987 to 1990 he shared the backfield with Bo Jackson and which proved a remarkable time for the team. Offered is a signed #32 Los Angeles Raiders jersey (XL) certified by PSA/DNA, F03294 with hologram on jersey and COA card. Jerry Rice, 20 years in the NFL is widely regarded as the greatest wide receiver in NFL history, and one of the greatest players in NFL history. While playing for a number of teams, he played for the Oakland Raides three seasons 2001-2004. His overall career receptions of 1549 still holds the record by almost 200 to second place. 197 career touchdown receptions also remains a record by 41 touchdowns to second place.
